Mamuka Chkhaidze
In 1985 he graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, the faculty of Architecture.
Professional Activity:
1995-1999 – Chief Architect and Vice-Mayor of Poti.
2000-2003 – Chief Architect of Tbilisi.
2003-2012 – The Founder and Chief Architect of “Eskizi”.
Since 2007 – The Founder and Chief Architect of „Arch-studio” in Yalta.
Since 2012 – The Founder and Chief Architect of “Studio 9”.
Mamuka Chkhaidze is the author of more than a hundred projects implemented in different cities of the world, including detailed planning of large city centers; he is the Laureate of International Architectural Awards; the Laureate of the UNESCO Prize. He has received the reward of the Union of Architects of Georgia at the Republic competition – the best building of the year; as well as numerous international awards. In 2021, his author’s project, the Restaurant Complex “Tsiskvili” is nominated for the EU Mies Van der Rohe Award.
